Privacy Policy

Effective October 17, 2026 · Updated October 17, 2026. This policy covers helistenz.com (HeListenz) and explains what we collect, why, and your choices. HeListenz is in beta and operated by the HeListenz team (Samson Select).

What we collect

• Artist applications: artist or group name, contact name, email address, genre, optional location, music links, biography, estimated released songs, and your rights and privacy confirmations.
• Waitlist signups: email address, optional name, the role you chose, and which page you signed up on — only with your consent, and every waitlist email includes an unsubscribe link.
• Partnership inquiries: name, optional organization, email address, inquiry type, and your message.
• Anonymous usage counts: we count page views in aggregate (which pages were viewed and how often) to understand what to build next. These counts are not tied to your identity, and we run no advertising or cross-site trackers.
• Basic technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) used for security and abuse prevention.
• On your device only: the player remembers recently played tracks, your playback position, queue, and settings in your browser's local storage. That never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

How we use it

• To review artist applications and contact applicants about their status and next steps.
• To send waitlist launch and beta-update emails to people who asked for them, and to reply to partnership inquiries.
• To send the confirmation and notification emails described during signup.
• To protect the platform against spam, fraud, and abuse.

What we never do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not publish submitted music from an application — publication requires a separate content agreement.
• We do not add applicants to marketing lists. Application email is for application business only.

Storage and security

Application data is stored in a private database on Cloudflare's platform, accessible only to authorized administrators. No method of storage is perfect, but access is limited and reviewed.

Your choices

You may ask us to correct or delete your application information at any time by emailing office@samsonselectmarketing.com. We will honor deletion requests for application data that we are not required to keep.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the effective date above.
